People (including my mother) have told me I'm cruel, overbearing, too honest,(what qualifies as "too honest"?) and that generally I don't play well with others. Personally, I take this to mean that I hold others to the same standards I hold myself to. What the fuck happened to giving your word and keeping it? What happened to personal pride in work and home life? It fucking sucks that taking someone at their word now means you're gullible. If I'm not going to meet you somewhere when I said I would, I fucking call. If I can't complete a project that I told you I would, I'll let you know - before you're on the phone with the CEO and he's screaming at you that the project is late. If holding you to same standards I hold myself to makes you cry -go play in the baby pool, where they would all rather swim in piss, than get up and go to the bathroom. For god's sake people, grow a set. Quit taking shit personally, act like an adult, and keep your word.
