I will try to make it as brief as possible. (English is my second
language so I tend to be a bit long-winded)
1. I have a zero tolerance for men who have no backbone. I have dated a
spineless whimp and though he was sweet I just could not stand the fact that he
was so clingy and gave no opinions even if I asked him several times!
2. No means no. I love my friends and family and like to see them happy but
I actually have a life with a job, hobbies and social activities. Next to that I
like to spend time alone with a book once in a while. So... no, my time is not
limitless and I do not appreciate being taken for granted.
3. I am a hugely nerdy cyberwitch and a treehugging hippie and I like me
like this. I am not at all inclined to follow the herd of fashion, the herd of
"normal" or any other group. Diversity rocks!
4. I am so sick of people who keep confusing respect with blindly agreeing
with another person's opinion. I highly respect every person's right to any
opinion, religion or whatever they choose. That does not mean that I have to
agree.
5. Being nice is not about kittens, balloons, hugs and chocolate cake.
Being nice is about honesty, no backstabbing and actually HEARING what people
have to say.
6. I will not compromise if it comes to following my dreams. Some people
are not made for office jobs and I am one of them. Some people just need to get
of my back with their whining about me having to find a "real job". I make good
honest money while doing something that I adore and people who have a problem
with that can start eating their toes for all I care.
7. I like me. Weird, geeky and occasionally clueless as I am. I have met
people and done things that have made my life richer. It is not all sunshine and
butterflies but there is no one I would like to trade with.
And I love this website! I found it in a message board signature and I
think it is wildly entertaining
