I don't shirk my responsibilities, and I don't tolerate those who
do. I've accepted the responsibility of defending the country by serving
time in the military. I've accepted responsibility for my debts by
maintaining steady employment. I've accepted responsibility for bettering
my family and society by not taking crap from those who won't do the same.
So you have ADD? So do I. It hasn't stopped me from doing what
needs to be done.
So getting a job will remove you from welfare? What kind of life is
that, living off the state and your husband/wife? Get off your lazy ass
and contribute something to society, and maybe gain some self-respect in the
process.
It is easy to confuse explanations with excuses. Everyone has some
explanation for why they shouldn't have to take on their responsibilities; I
have mine. But they don't excuse me from being less than my
potential. They are challenges to make me stronger.
