I have hit a point in my life where I realize that I am the architect of my future. That and I find the willfully ignorant less amusing every day. I work in a field where I have to be better than my male co-workers to get recognition, and I went back to college when I realized that waiting to be rescued was idiotic.

I may have started a little late, because it took me till I was 23 to realized there were worse things than not being married and that being married to someone who didn't want the little woman to go to college was one of them.

I've been known to tell nice guys, "Why would a healthy woman want you if you can't even get your shit together?" and "Get your shit together and stop worrying about pussy."

Too bad it usually falls on deaf ears.
