I'm a Heartless Bitch because I refuse to let men try to keep me where they want me, at home, in the kitchen taking care of children. I make a decent salary and can order take-out if I want to, hire a cleaning person and get a babysitter. I divorced that one.

I refuse to be "bought" off by men who want to "take care of me" financially if I give up my job to devote my time to them. I dumped that one.

I try to find the right balance at work so that I don't intimidate the insecure men who think that brains and boobs can't possibly go together, and though I work with it, internally I seethe at the glass ceiling I keep bumping my head on. I defy all labels and categorizations. I am a woman who is Beautiful Intelligent and in Total Control of Herself. I do not need a man to make me feel whole.
