I am an intelligent woman who does not suffer fools gladly.

A fool, in my not-so-humble opinion, is a person who holds unexamined beliefs and attitudes (whether or not they agree with mine) and insists upon their own rectitude, moral or otherwise. Unfortunately, this describes an enormous percentage of the population.

I won't pander to ignorance or arrogance, whether it be the men in my calculus class that are infuriated by a woman who actually understands math, or the women who smirk that I am NEVER going to catch a husband if I keep up the smart routine. Of course, not wanting a husband does make that easier for me, but I do make the point that dumbing oneself down for courtship will lead to either self-imposed lifelong vapidity or divorce.

Of course, I do get called a Bitch quite often. What I do NOT get called is pushover, stupid, sweetheart, dear or doormat. Works for me.

I could write a book here, but I am sure you already know the laundry list of societal idiocy.
