I used to be one of those women who was the perpetual victim. I spent too much of my life crying over the people who hurt me and wondering why all this stuff kept happening to me. One day, I decided it was time to grow up. Whatever problems I had were my problems, my responsibility. It took me a bit of practice, but I refused to continue being a victim. Since then I have been able to identify in other people the same quality and have been known on more than one occasion to intellectually Bitch-slap someone and tell them to grow up: their problems are their own, I'm not your mommy, I can't fix it and I'm not going to try; wake up and smell the adulthood, chicka.

People think I'm a Bitch because I speak my mind and refuse to be silenced by anyone (although, my close friends admire those qualities about me). People will say I'm a Bitch because I tell people what they don't want to hear. I will turn you down. I will tell you to stop being stupid. Whatever creative force there is in the universe has endowed me with significantly more intelligence and brain power than the average person, and I'm going to use it.
