I'm a Heartless Bitch because . . .

I'd rather spend some of my Saturday nights at home, curled up with a bottle of wine and a good novel than joining my friends on another un-ending search for "Mr. Right" in some po-dunk honkeytonk bar.

I've learned that sometimes you have to get over yourself and admit that you need help so that you don't keep making the same mistakes over and over in life.

I'm not at all ashamed to admit the only baking that I do on a regular basis is me in my tanning bed.

I'm not willing to stand by and let a friend make a big mistake in life without letting her know how I feel, even if it means risking our friendship.

I can finally say that I've experienced the profound power, peace and self-love that comes from successfully holding myself back from answering the phone when that sick fuck tries to call me yet again.

I've learned that perseverance and actual hard work can get you further than looks, luck, or wishful thinking.

And finally,

I realize that there's always something to learn from and share with other Heartless Bitches like me.
