I am a Heartless Bitch because I have very little patience for insincerity, dogmatic ignorance, and blind conformity at the expense of personal happiness and/or greater good.
I've been called a Heartless Bitch because I am more concerned with doing something well and solving problems than with being pleasing or downright benign to as many people as possible.
I am a Heartless Bitch because I am frustrated with the Frigid Virgin and Liberated Slut dichotomy. I like sex, I dislike pornography, I am bisexual, and it's not "for attention". Puritan and Raunch approaches to sexuality both concern me because they establish "shoulds" and "musts" for very personal and subjective desires and habits.
I'm tired of the Who Is More Selfish back-and-forth between people happily with children and people happily without.
I am not a Heartless Bitch because I'm "hardcore". I'm trying to figure things out, especially the issue of privacy. I'm something of a socialist and I am also pro-choice, so, I want the government to be there if I should suddenly be homeless, but I want them out of the equation should I become pregnant. I think most people are annoyed by those who want to take the time to consider their choices and who are open to changing their minds ("flip-floppers!").
I am a Heartless Bitch because I am passionate about issues I commit myself to, but I also know enough to know I do not know everything.
