I can still remember the blazing rows and the sheer red-eyed rage of growing up an overly-mature , well-read and opinionated (pre)teen with confidence in my own opinion and the social nightmare that comes with all that.

Even though the affected apathy of adolescence and the discovery of satire has a certain cooling effect the spirit is the same and so are many of the opinions. I don't see why because I'm young I should have to drink down older people's bullshit like it's alcopops, or where exactly certain people who are supposed to be role models got those sticks up their arses, but they don't mean to tell me that's the first time they've been called on for making sexist remarks in a fricken' citizenship lesson of all places. And no, telling me I look pretty when I smile will not get me out of this righteous 'stop', but it may make me want to torch that living corpse you call a body.

And when I find, floating in the primeval soup of porn, anime and sex offenders they call the internet, a community of sane people, some of whom write really good articles, I'm naturally gonna to be keen to join them. Even if I'm not entirely sure where all that flowery language at the beginning came from. Oh well, surely if it's all about choice I can sound like Mills and Boon if I really want to.
