Apparently I'm seen as "cold" and "unromantic" to the last guy I met, because I chose to focus on my career instead of becoming his "other half." He actually said, "I'm looking for someone to 'complete me'." And I threw up a little in my mouth, then told him this isn't going to work. He tried to guilt me into "being there" for him, by constantly complaining about his problems. He would also complain that I make him feel "stupid, not man enough, and not good enough to be in [my] presence." (Truth is, all that shit was true about him before he even met me, and I never had to tell him myself.) After a while, I realized I can be sympathetic without wasting my energy on an emotional manipulator with too many issues to handle. So I changed my phone number and didn't bother telling him about it. I think he's stalking me now.

I refuse to sacrifice my integrity for any man's affection. I love men, but I don't "need" one. I'm tired of men feeling insecure and intimidated around me because I'm intelligent and not cheesy. I'm tired of the whiny, needy-ass, clingy men I keep meeting acting like lil' Bitches. Grow up, grow some balls, and get over it! I don't really know for sure if I'm "Heartless" or "Bitchy", but I've been called it a few times, especially lately.
