I'm a Heartless Bitch because I've got brains, self respect and a
sense of humour, and because I'm damn proud of all three.
I think that life is there to be LIVED, not endlessly moaned about.
Everyone goes through bad times, but at the end of the day it's my job to figure
out what's wrong and FIX IT instead of sitting endlessly in my own shit Bitching
about the smell. I don't treat my friends, family or significant others as
therapists, nannies, or second mommas (except for my own momma, who'll only put
up with a certain amount of whining before telling me to work it out).
I'm a Heartless Bitch because I don't think that being young is an excuse
for being outright stupid. I get a certain amount of slack for ignorance and
raging hormones, but my brain still works and I expect myself to use it for
something other then colour coordinating my make-up to my accessories.
I'm a Heartless Bitch because I believe that I am ultimately accountable
only to myself, and I won't to do anything that makes me think less of who I am.
Self esteem is something we all have to earn; I've worked hard for mine, and am
not going to trade it for cheap approval.
I'm a Heartless Bitch because I value independence, friendly debate and a
good laugh. I'll grab a coffee with anyone into that- everyone else can find
another co-dependant fuckwad to commiserate with.
