I knew I was destined to be a Heartless Bitch from an early age. Other girls spent hours dressing up their dolls, prettifying their hair or getting them to cook meals for big, butch teddy bears. My Barbie, however, was off breaking the sound barrier on her jet, or plotting world domination in her Lego subterranean lair whilst occasionally feeding a tied up Ken to a plastic shark. "Her" maniacal laugh as she did so seemed to frighten boys. I liked that... I still do.
