I am a single mother of four children; two boys, two girls.
I live, as well as teach my children the following concepts:
Love is more than a concept from the outside, you must always love yourself
first and then spread it to those around you.
True beauty lies within.
It will be your core strength that will lead you through any situation as
long as you are willing to use your mind and stand up for yourself and your
beliefs.
Never back down, you can achieve anything in this life as long as you never
allow fear to stand in your way.
Never harm anyone including your self
Treat women as Goddesses and men as Gods, because in the end that is how we
all want to be seen and treated.
Control comes from within; while we can not control the world around us, we
can control how we respond to it.
Never buy in to the victim mentality. Only people that are truly
incapable of standing up for themselves (the very young, very old, mentally
challenged, and the dead) are victims. As long as you have the mental
capacity to choose, you can change your circumstances, therefore you are not a
victim but a survivor.
Life is a lesson; each circumstance is an opportunity to grow.
The only constant in life is death. Don't dwell on the hardships of
life, do not allow fear or resentments to stand in your way. Laugh, love,
have fun, touch as many people as possible, show kindness always; that will be
your legacy.
So, I guess you could say that in my mind Heartless Bitches are truly not
Heartless at all. We understand that the secret to life is not in how mean you
can be to others, but in loving yourself enough to stand up for yourself and
your beliefs. As a Heartless Bitch I use my intellect to be heard, I
celebrate my independence, and do what I can to teach the next generation and
the ones around me that is okay to be strong, it is okay to love yourself, it is
okay to be you.
