I realise that nobody else can or should be responsible for my life or happiness. I live life based on my own needs and desires. This doesn't mean I set out to be selfish, it simply means that I cannot be bothered with self pity or inactivity in either myself or other people.

I am called a Bitch for many "reasons": because I'm a feminist and I work hard for whatever I want in life, whether it's love or an education. Because I am always honest with myself and anyone else who cares to ask. Because I don't buy into the lies that all societies seem to perpetuate telling women we'll never be good enough.

As I can't see anything wrong with any of those things I embrace the label. I always hate seeing women and girls compromising their entire lives and personalities in order to gain approval from people to whom, if they gave the matter some thought, they would not give the time of day. I am absolutely determined that this will never happen to me.
