I am considered to be "hard work" by my ex boyfriends and unhappily married female friends. The reason for this is not because I have a selfish, demanding, cruel nature but because I have a brain, I have a successful career, I have a sense of humour, I'm independent, I have my own house. I live alone but do not get lonely. I am capable of conversation on subjects other than shopping, make-up, how good he looks and how much he means to me. My world has not ended because I've ended my relationship. I will not settle for second best. I will not be controlled by any man. My opinion counts, it isn't up for dismissal. I will wear the clothes I want to wear, not dress like a hooker to appease some purile dickhead's mood swings.

I can stand alone yet still have many friends. I make people laugh and I look after my friends. I will not give up my life to slot into someone else's. I will not dumb down my brain to inflate the ego of any man. I am not a posession.

If you think you can change me, think again for I do not want to change and no man is bright enough to convince me otherwise nor any unhappy female, convinced I shouldn't have to "cope alone". Next woman who says "Poor dear. How do you cope on your own?" dies.
