I have strong opinions, I defend them, and I'm pretty damn smart. So if people say (or do) something that doesn't make sense - or even worse, contradicts something they've said earlier - I'm going to call them on it.

Assholes infuriate me, because I feel like not being an asshole is pretty straightforward. It comes down to treating people with respect, which just means a) letting them make their own decisions about their lives and their bodies, and b) remembering that old Golden Rule you learned in preschool. That's -really- easy. What an absurd thought - actually THINKING about the potential consequences of your actions! Mad, eh? So when some loser treats myself or anybody else with disrespect, I'm going to get in their face. I'm going to tell them how absurdly offensive their behavior was, I'm going to tell them why, and I'm going to do my damnest to make sure they're not in a position to do it again.

On that note, I can't stand angry people. Anger is worthless unless directed towards positive action - don't just let it loose on the person in the wrong (although by all means confront them about it). Figure out the cultural structures and forces that allowed - or encouraged, or even directly caused - the bullshit to happen, and work to change them.
