I'm a realist and I see a situation for what it is. I don't believe
in building false hope so (as I feel it's only to be a bigger let down later).
I'll say things as I see them so that whatever the situation may be it can
be dealt with accurately. This is usually taken with "She already feels
bad enough, couldn't you just say something to be nice and make her feel
better?!" No, no I can't because it would be a lie...that and it makes
less sense to let someone feel better then tear them down, I say kick them while
they're down it'll hurt less later.
Ok, kidding on that...sort of. It's not that I lack sympathy, or even
empathy, but I simply refuse to coddle and I don't do pity. Shit happens,
stuff hurts, deal with it and move on and quit fucking wallowing! Like the
people who complain about how bad their life is, get off your ass and do
something about it, if you make no effort to change your situation you have no
one to blame but yourself. People really don't like it when you tell that,
or try to make them realize that yes in fact your actions do have
consequences.
I also believe there should be some sort of reproductive blocker so that
even though you may have everything needed to have a kid doesn't mean you can,
or should. The gene pool has enough disadvantages we don't need certain
peoples contributions. This is getting pretty long and I'm starting into
rant territory, and then it will just go on for quite some time.
