I'm a Heartless Bitch because I have an extremely low tolerance for being underestimated, guilt tripped and emotionally manipulated. The more a man underestimates me, the more aggressive and independent I become. The more a man guilt trips me, the easier I find it to be cruel. The more a man manipulates me, the more I dig in my heels. I will not be used, I will not be protected and I will not stroke egos all day. I understand that everyone needs their ego bumped when they have a bad day, but when it's an hourly occurrence it's Game Over.

I love it when my man buys me gifts, just as I love seeing him smile when I buy something in return for him. Pay for dinner tonight and let me pay tomorrow. And what else? I love it when a man has the guts to actually tell me if he doesn't like my haircut or my new shoes, because I'll damn well let him know if I think he's looking particularly shabby.

Equality means forgetting my birthday and not caring if I forget yours.
