A couple months ago I got out of an abusive relationship. Controlling, angry outbursts, all the flags. I recently stumbled on your website and the information I read on your emotional abuse pages really made me wish i'd seen these a year sooner. I'm a (learning) Heartless Bitch because I finally realized that nursing someone elses issues is just stupid and poisonous to your sense of self. I see now that I was less of a person when I was with him and heartily regret not growing a spine and getting out earlier. In my defense, seeing abuse from the inside of such a relationship is difficult. It was my first ever relationship/love ect. I had no first-hand experience with what a healthy relationship was..Im infinitely grateful to my Heartless Bitch of a best friend for sticking with me throuh the whole mess and pounding some sense into me.."get the fuck out now tara this is insane!" and so on. Shes fuckin awesome.

i want to join, because as far as iv read on this site and iv read a lot, there are masses of intelligent independent unapolegetic men and women (who knew?)on the message boards which, for lack of a more appropriate word, sound pretty "Bitchin"
