I don't hate men. I would quite like one to keep someday, I really would. I just hate boring men. Men that have the same five conversations with me over and over again, then act surprised when I dump them. Men that want to spend every second with their hand round my waist, then act surprised when I express desires to the effect of "detach yourself from my hip, I have things to do". I am well aware of what I want in life, and that is not it. What I want is a life filled with interesting things where I strive towards the goals that matter to me. What I want in a man is not perfection, merely an interesting personality and a little ambition to achieve some goals of his own in life. What I want in life is to not settle for second best just to avoid being a spinster. I refuse to take a back seat in my own life, I deal with challenges directly and assertively, and occasionally with a very real lack of tact. I hate bullshit, and I hate kissups. I'm out to get the best life for myself I can, and I don't want people wasting my time.
