I refuse to be a sheep and follow the herd. I have my own (life)style and if you don't like it - well too bad, I don't care, never have, never will. Thanks to my mom I grew up to be an independent woman who don't need anybody to validate or (almost worth) support her. I can stand on my own two feet, got knocked down a few times, stood up, brushed the dust off and moved on. I would be a rich woman if I got a penny for every time somebody told me "I never thought a nice girl like you would a) have Tattoos b) likes Heavy Metal c) likes computer games" and the list goes on... It amuses me every time somebody finds out that I am NOT the person they had me mistaken for. Unfortunately a lot of people mistake my politeness for shyness - unfortunate for them, because I have and will speak up if somebody tries to take advantage of said politeness and its usually a rude awakening for them.
