The baddest Bitch? Ha! I'm far from perfect. My biggest regret is a few years back when I persistently pestered a good friend of 3 years for sex, stopping only when, to my horror, she told me she felt violated. Shitting hell, better that than pressing sexual harassment charges. I happened upon your site soon after said incident, and its contents helped inspire me to take responsibility for my actions and by now, thankfully, our platonic friendship has been rebuilt, and that's how it'll stay. Of course I felt guilty, but fuck it now, I put it right. She's forgiven me, and I've forgiven myself as best I can. We've moved on, although we'll never forget.
Everyone makes mistakes, some of them huge ones. Some of our mistakes fuck us over, some fuck other people over. Mistakes are all avoidable, but sometimes only hindsight can tell us how. Those that do occur are there to be rectified and learned from.
I find it hard to hate people, I prefer to understand and forgive (it's called getting over it - luckily no-one has yet pushed my forgiveness past its limits). However I do my best to ensure forgiving does not equate to denying a fault, nor is there anything wrong with a judiciously-applied witty put-down.
It's the small things that piss me off. For example, 'Txt spk.' or taking easy offence at swear words, or dilution of the power of swear words through overuse. It takes a sense of balance to properly use swear words. A more important aspect of life that needs good balance is a friendship. It's unhealthy if too much whining goes on. Contrariwise, it's an unhealthy friendship if support is lacking during someone's hour of need.
I'll close with a question which crops up in my mind from time to time. Sexism is a gender-neutral word, but is perceived as a bad thing. Feminism is a gender-loaded word, but is perceived as a good thing. What's the deal with that?
