I am a Heartless Bitch because I refuse to take crap from anyone. I do not feel that I am rude or totally and unnecessarily harsh, but I am not afraid to tell people what I think and I am unapologetic for giving my opinion or speaking the truth. I work in a field dominated by men and being overly emotional, whiney, or playing the damsel in distress is absolutely not an option. I am a woman who loves, is comfortable with, and who is proud of who I am. I refuse to change who I am to make someone else happy at my expense. I also have no tolerance for women who sacrifice who they are for a relationship, for career or economic advancement, or just because they want people to like them or think they are nice. You should be proud of the woman you are, and not sell out for anyone. I am a Heartless Bitch because I am a strong, confidant, assertive female and I am not going to let anyone make me think that is a bad thing despite repeatedly hearing the phrase "you're too...(fill in the adjective of your choice)."
