Sara
Why am I Heartless Bitch?
Because my parents raised me right god damn it.
They told me that respect should be earned, not freely given.
They told me that intelligence and a sense of humor is what makes a human
being attractive.
They told me I can do anything a boy can do. Better.
They told me to think for myself. (This one backfired on them. But they
always supported me.)
They told me I am the only one responsible for my decisions. And they
supported those as well.
I'm a Heartless Bitch because:
I know that I was not given a choice in regards to my gender, sexual
orientation or ethnicity in utero. So if you are going to dislike* somebody, you
should choose to do so for things they can control. Like ignorance. Or not
utilizing proper hygiene.
I'm more concerned with literacy rates in American schools, than which
shoes are in for the current season.
As you friend, I will listen to your problems. I will not listen to you
whine about the crappy situation you put yourself in. Again.
I know I was not put on this earth to be anybody's punching bag, emotional
or physical. I also know I am not your personal cheerleader, whose sole purpose
is to raise your self esteem.
I love who I am, and how I look. I do not need to be validated by any other
person than myself.
I love sex, mental stimulation and the companionship of a kindred human
being. Not drama.
I am a writer, an artist and a filmmaker. I can express myself concisely,
and often times eloquently. I do not need anybody else to do it for me. Nor do I
feel the need to force my views onto anybody else. However I will openly and
willingly share my thoughts, my insights, my trials and tribulations as a woman
and a human being with anybody intelligent enough to be interested and
appreciative.
* I reserve the word hate for topics that I actually have enough interest
in, to feel that strongly about.
