I am independent: from what I understand, lives are strictly one-per-customer, and I refuse to compromise my dignity and self-reliance for the sake of pandering to another's ego or codependency issues. For the individuals who have trouble grasping either concept, I will magnanimously provide directions to a distant corner of an alternate universe in which the fuck-up has my express permission to cry at will.

"Cattiness" (in quotations because to apply the label to such interactions is a heinous insult to felines worldwide; here defined as the act of partaking in obsessive, irrational behavior in a desperate attempt to control a romantic situation, 100% UNrestricted to females) forces up whatever cookies I've got left at the end of such an interaction in an equally desperate plea for rationality.

I don't treat the psyche of any creature, human or non, as my personal playground. If I say I'm going to feed my dog at 5:00 PM, he can damn well expect his food to be waiting in his dish by, if not before, then without his having to beg or perform any spectacular feats of doggy achievement to "deserve" it.

I am sarcastic and irreverent. I don't do it to act out or get attention: I enjoy it, and life tastes better this way.
