My roommate describes herself in one word: fenimist. No, that's not a
misspelling. Her own words. Can a page long summary on my views regarding this
describe why I'm a Heartless Bitch? Probably not. I believe the conversation
itself pretty much sums it up. Unedited, I might add.
Her: I like Sex and the City. It's a very fenimist show.
Me: Uh, no, it's a woman's life from a gay guy's perspective.
Her: Whaaaat? No, it isn't! It says that women should be empowered sexually
and financially!
Me: By sleeping with anything with 2 legs and a dick, no protection? Not
buying it, sweetums.
Her: But everyone thinks it! The Pussycat Dolls give the same
message!
Me: Yeah, I'm sure parading yourself around in a thong and saying you don't
need a man while still being a trophy wife is empowerment. Give me a fucking
break.
Her: I don't need a man to make me happy!
Me: No, women like you don't need a man. You've got your trust fund to
leech from, why would you need some guy? And look at it this way, debutante
girl, even if you do wind up getting whored off to some rich boy, you can always
divorce him, take half his shit, THEN claim your financial independence while
you live of your trust fund AND the crap you leeched from him. Oh, but the man
won't complain! Even though you won't work and you'll spend his hard-earned
money on skimpy clothes and other useless crap, it's okay because that makes you
EQUALS!
Her: Well, lots of women do that... I don't see anything wrong with
it.

Me: Listen here, cause I'm only gonna say it once. Women like you are the
reason chauvinists exist. You Bitch about wanting equal rights all of the
fucking time. But you don't even want to take fucking responsibility for your
life! For the love of God, you're 23 and you STILL haven't worked a day in your
life and yet you STILL whine about how your parents are "trying to control you".
So if you actually BOTHER to get a job and are denied a promotion, you have no
one to blame but yourself for being so goddamn lazy and selfish. The real reason
you'll be denied one is that you'll spend your entire fucking time there talking
about "relationships" and how hot some guy's ass is!
Her: You're so judgmental! Being aggressive like that won't-
Me: Yeah, and you're gonna meet people like that every day. So put up or
shut up. You want equal rights, you start working for it rather than demand it
be served to you on a fucking silver platter.
