Being short and blonde, I find that being underestimated is part of my life. I get a lot of pleasure seeing the blank stare on the faces of those who condescend or patronize me, when my investigative, verbal, and well-read responses overwhelm them. Television shows are not in my realm of discussion, nor are romance novels or any other drivel meant to distract. Self-knowledge, thoughtful introspection, and people smarter than me are worth my time. Don't bore me with problems only you can fix; I've fixed and/or paid for every damn bad decision I've ever made. No one rescued me, no one will rescue you either. Men aren't exempt, but I'm married to one now that has opened my eyes to the possibility of man with a HEART! (Still has to be chastised for the occasional racist or gay joke, I have zero tolerance.)
