I'm a Heartless Bitch because I continually look to know myself and
better myself without conforming to the standards of others. I refuse to settle
for mediocrity and would rather have my self respect remain intact and do
without than tolerate something I was never that happy with in the first
place.
I believe in accountability and integrity in a person and that strength of
character is something to be valued. I believe in speaking out against a society
that accommodates and applauds parasites and sell outs. I have no time for
people who blame others for their own failures and inadequacies. I don't believe
that feelings factor into every decision that needs to be made. Sometimes you do
things because you have to do them, not because you feel like doing them. It's
easy to wallow, you don't deserve sympathy, you deserve something when you start
pulling yourself out of the pit and making something of yourself.
I am all for educating the current and next generations of women that being
a strong, independent woman, does not make you sexless, unattractive or gay. It
does not make you ruthless, cold or frigid. It simply means you have the
capability to make wise, healthy decisions and live a happy life that is not
reliant on any partner, male or otherwise. Basically I want to see a bunch of
women with backbones and brains, instead of rich old husbands and perky fake
breasts.
I'm sick of seeing girls growing up thinking they have to be sex objects
and seeing them following the ridiculous so called "role models" in singers and
models. Since when has prostituting yourself once a day on music television been
worthy of respect? Aside from the idiotic messages in their sugary love songs,
these women show as much ass as they can to sell themselves to the kids at home.
However, as most of these kids are probably able to download the song illegally
anyway this makes their prostitution even more pointless. The singers may say
they have independence through finance, but if it was worth the loss of their
integrity and self respect then good for them.
I want to see a smart generation of independent women, and not ones who
lost their self respect to gain it. I want to see more brain usage and less
beauty hype. But I don't want to baby sit a bunch of whiney brats who can't hack
it in the real world so unless they are prepared to pull their weight and get on
board then I don't have time for them. So yeah, that is why I'm a Heartless
Bitch.
