Because I have ALWAYS felt, that nice is NOT equal to being a sycophant in which you try to please others by putting yourself on the sacrificial altar. I have realized over time that you can be nice and assertive at the same time!!

Because I have been able to get out of relations where I (later... am wiser now) realized I was being emotionally fucked over, and wonders of wonders I am still not bitter about men (only those men, who fuck with my mind).

I have a very full life in which I pursue my own interests. Over time I have realized *that* is what people find attractive AND I can still remain unaffected by the adulation ;).

I realize so many of the mistakes I have made in my relations, and unlike the people I have been with, I made time out for myself to work on ME. (This attitude is so much in minority that sometimes I wonder if I am weird)

I have lived life on my terms, and I fully realize that there can be pros and cons to this approach. Accepting both is the fun part.

And most of all I realize being an adult is lots of fun :) ...(it's not about whining as most people do)
