The only reason I got anywhere was that I decided I had to be responsible for getting - and keeping - my shit together to get through life and earn something better than where I came from.

When I've made mistakes, I've had to accept that yes, those were MY mistakes and if I didn't want to repeat them, I had to smarten up and make some changes.

When I've been dissatisfied with my choices, I've taken steps to change the situation and try something else until I find what works for ME, not anyone else.

I always work at being better today than I was yesterday: smarter, faster, and Heartlessly Bitchier. Those that can't keep up can goddamn well stay behind on the plateau of mediocrity while I climb higher!
