I was always a strange kid - at least, that's what some people told me. Some "well meaning" relatives bought me a baby carriage; by which I was supposed to play properly and stop "mucking about outside/try to be more lady like".

I remember a particularly stiff and sniffy woman who lived across the street stopping me and asking if she could see my baby, beaming away that I was not blowing something up or chasing the neighbor boys with a large rock. She lifted off the blanket I had draped over the top of the plastic carriage - exposing my bug/beetle/spider collection. Hehehe! I continued from there - inquisitive, headstrong, somewhatdorky and unrepentant in my ways. *My Mom* was a staunch supporter - bless her heart!

I've strayed along the way (oh my yes!) I've put up with blood-sucking weenie-boys with no drive, simpering, plastic fair-weather friends who chase the fattest wallet, deadbeat dad and wicked-stepwitch, users and losers ad infinitum.

So!

At this point I don't put up with any crap from anyone. I'd do anything for my critters, my girlfriends, family members who don't suck, and for my guy.
