I refuse to tolerate my dysfunctional in-law's crap! The women in my husband's family are "traditional" and I'm, well, NOT. They are all whining (the men and women) because I threw my father-in-law out this past holiday season. He is completely self-absorbed and abusive, verbally and emotionally. Yes, I really tried (for a little while) to suck it up and let things go, but I finally had enough and gave him a piece of my mind.

I even told him that although it's been a while since I've sharpened my claws, rest assured I'm up to the challenge. Well, things got real ugly, (He even resorted to name calling!) Then I kicked him to the curb and as "punishment" he's not speaking to me anymore, FINALLY!

I'm fairly sure that this is the main reason my husband married me; Because I'm enough of a "Heartless Bitch" to stand up for myself especially around his family. They seem to fear me now, and an inside source tells me it's because I call everyone on their crap. This is the relationship I prefer.
