I have always made an honest attempt to be there for my female friends whenever they needed me. However, I find one thread that runs through every conversation--"I don't look like a supermodel, and so everyone will always crap on me." Clearly, if that were the case, there would be no success story to any unattractive female in any lifetime; and whether or not those women should be used as a pace for the rest of us, one simple fact remains: you don't deserve anything that you don't earn.

I am a Heartless Bitch because I believe that I have to earn my own way in this world. Often, people don't like the levels to which my drive takes me--specifically those that require me to send whiny, gossipy friends packing when I've had enough. More often, people tell me that I am stepping outside of my gender role unnecessarily to accomplish something that only men should be seeking in the first place. I've been described as a heinous Bitch, an ice princess, an alpha female, and a woman that should've been a man--and while many would shirk such responsibility, I find that with every subsequent label in that vein, I become more proud of the fact that I am recognized as something more worthwhile than a dime-a-dozen skirt.
