I am a Heartless Bitch because:

• I am not your "typical" teenager, and I like it that way. Anyone who fails to appreciate that fact is not worthy my time.
• I have my own thoughts and opinions, and I refuse to tacitly agree with anything and everything that spews out of someone else's mouth. I won't mirror your interests and ideas just to make you feel comfortable in a conversation.
• I'm an intelligent woman and proud of it, and I will not dumb down for anyone. However, I do not know everything and I am not perfect, and I will be the first to admit this.
• I have high standards, and I will never again date the village idiot- I learn from my mistakes, and I will not settle for anything less than I deserve. I'm not afraid to be single, because regardless of my relationship status, I am never alone. The one person I truly need is always with me, and I see that person every time I look in the mirror.
• I have self-confidence, and it's damn sexy and I know it! I see no reason to be uncomfortable with who I am or what I look like, or to doubt my worth as a person.
• It frustrates some people that I always have my own way of saying and doing things, and quite frankly, I don't care. Maybe if they did things their way, or better yet, my way, they wouldn't be so emotionally constipated and full of frustration.
• I don't take shit from anyone- I refuse to be intimidated and not stand up for myself and what I believe in. I'm not a passive girl.
• I can't please everyone, and I can't say that I try- I make myself happy and live for me. I don't exist to complete anyone else's life or to be their cute little trophy.
• I'm shamelessly and unapologetically ferocious, bold, and assertive. I grab life by the horns and steer it in the direction I want to go, and I take responsibility for myself and my actions along the way.
