Why am I a Heartless Bitch? Everyone tells me I am. People go on and on about how my heart seems to nothing but a lump of coal. Apparently, according to my detractors, all I have to offer the world is cynicism, sarcasm and hatred. Now I don't personally feel this way. I feel that the world is just afraid of what a strong-willed woman can do. Especially my father. For I am a young independent Indian girl, I've lived my life as an outcast, a black sheep if you will, for I will not sit back and take orders from the world. My parents taught me that I should speak my mind, and stand up for what I believe in, yet I am reprimanded for my opinions and told to keep my mouth shut; it's not lady like for a woman to speak so loudly, and be so vigorous in her statements. Why would two people raise a girl to be so outgoing and then tell her that she shouldn't be? It really makes no sense. All I do know is that I have a voice, God gave it to me and I plan on using whenever and wherever I see fit. Yes, I've been told that I am a Heartless Bitch, and maybe I am, but whatever I truly am, I'm proud to be it.
