I'm a Heartless Bitch because I can not find it in me to compromise my beliefs, values, or opinions for anyone. I am a researcher. I do not tend to spout off half cocked and emotional about subjects I know little about. If I am interested in an issue, the least I can do is arm myself with objective information, so that I can examine it from all angles and draw reasonable and informed opinions. I despise regurgitators. While I will respect another's opinion, that opinion needs to be valid, if not rational and logical. I refuse to apologize for thinking a moron is a moron.

I had my first child at 15, my second at 19, and my third at 29. I recently married the man I've been with since I was 14. Yes, he is the father of all my children. We were married on our 18th anniversary.

We are survivors. Together we took a situation that could have been disastrous to our lives and our children's lives, and, through nothing but hard work and perseverance, succeeded. I did not succeed by living off of my government, or by putting my hand out. I did it on my own. I have always "been in total control" of my future. My family always has, and always will come first.

I am not dis-compassionate, or un-empathetic for the less fortunate. However, if they can't be bothered to help themselves, why should I be bothered to care about their issues?
