I'm a Heartless Bitch because basically people cannot see the stupidity and the lies that society has wrapped around us like a translucent blanket, unnoticeable to all but the few. Everyday I can never walk outside my home without being in constant contact with the same ignorance and brainwashing idealisms I have been so unfortunate to witness on TV, the radio, and in literature.
Being a student at a university you would expect people to have brains, but more and more I find nothing but walking MTV ads. If you're not a stuck up sorority Bitch, you don't exist. Women are nothing more but possessions for men and the fact that we have brains is unimportant. The Wage Gap being an example of such sexism. I came to college for an education, not to get married and help populate the planet with this same ignorance.
Women are beautiful in their souls and spirits. We have voices that need to be heard. We need respect and deserve so much more that is not allotted to us.
Because of my attitude, I have been labeled a Heartless Bitch to most. I am truly sorry, but it's not my fault if I don't believe in a Disney romance and the numerous love songs on the radio. And so I am a Heartless Bitch because, like the existing members, I believe in truth and not the many messages our society sends out like a flaring baton. I'm not afraid to state life as I see it or call anyone out on their denial.
I'd rather be a Bitch than society's whore.
