I'm not married and I don't particularly want to be married if it means traumatising my fiancé to the altar. I'm childless and oh my God, I love it.

I think 'post-feminism' is a crock of shit and a license for women to be vain, stupid, shallow and manipulative and for men to act like Neanderthal fuckheads with more teeth than brain cells.

I am sick to death of being bombarded by airbrushed pictures of impossibly perfect trollops with no cellulite, no pores and no pubic hair, fed up to the back teeth with 'chick flicks', 'chick-lit' and 'girlie girls' and continually fuming that young women STILL imagine that their purpose in life is to be pretty and get married.

I am almost thirty and at the age where the knee-jerk nags from relatives are coming thick and fast about when I'm going to 'settle down' (Regardless of the fact that I've been shacked up with the love of my life for the last eight damn years - I suppose I need a wedding ring and a sprog or two to seal the deal.) and somehow realise my potential. I mean, huh? WTF are they ON? I've already written two published novels, for fuck's sake - why would having a baby or playing Princess For A Day in a bridal gown that held in all my lumpy bits and made me look like a pavlova verify my existence any further?
