I feel no obligation to accept the dysfunction of others as my own. I am successful, not because I'm talented, nice or cute, but because I am skilled, ambitious and tough as goddamn nails.

I can't stand people who Bitch about how hard their lives are and how lucky I am. People believe in luck because they don't want to accept that having and maintaining a good life requires work. If you have so little faith in your ability to change your life then off yourself right now and take your pessimism elsewhere, 'cause it's never going to get any better for you.

I believe in hard work and gratitude, and have no space in my life for people who think ambition is a bad thing. As a result, I can say that I am sincerely happy with who I am and the life that I have, which means more to me than anyone else's approval.
