I'm a Heartless Bitch because I'm willing to face anyone (including myself!) to take care of what needs to be taken care of, and I know precisely where I stand in this world. I'm young, but hell if I don't know what I'm doing. Once I realized that love didn't mean always giving in, being mealy-mouthed and hypocritical, it wasn't that hard for me to start loving people in a meaningful way. It's a lot easier to empathize with people acting badly when you're able to explain the consequences and follow through.

I'm a giving person, but not pointlessly self-sacrificing; any inconvenience I get I signed up for. I'm a Heartless Bitch because I moved back in with my father, knowing full well that I would never be dependent again, so that we could take care of each other. He needs me to take care of his house and take on projects he doesn't have the energy for any more, and I get mine in relying on his understanding and sensible advice. Some people give me shit about it, it is true, but I'm no stereotype. I'm a Heartless Bitch.
