I live in a conservative area, and I make a point of wearing my "This is what a feminist looks like" shirt to the college classes I teach. Someone needs to try to open their minds to accepting people and things that are not just like them; I elect me.

I have no time for people who want to make other people's choices for them. I think, therefore I am not Republican.

Most of all, I am saying fuck off to a judgmental world by the way I raise my son. He plays with dolls. I buy him the dolls. If he's gay? He already was at birth and stepping outside the gender straightjackets was just a bonus gift.
