I have a deep love of myself for which I refuse to apologise. People seem to believe that self-love points only to egotism, selfishness or vanity. It can manifest as all of these, but in a healthy person it is confidence and genuine self-affection. I am a kind and courteous person, but I refuse to have my time wasted - by those looking to 'tame' or by those who would 'worship' me. I have enough belief in myself to do as I please without needing validation, and enough confidence to like myself without someone else's admiration.
