I'm a Heartless Bitch because I wasted a sizeable part of my youth chasing, and being excessively nice to, boys and men FAR beneath me in intellect, looks, and whatever else. I was so scared of hurting their feelings that I made them the main priority of my life, and of course, they took me completely for granted. A short time ago, after a disastrous relationship with a prof of mine, I just woke up and thought "fuck it". If a man wants to be with me now, he has to work like a fucking dog and feel that it's a privilege to do so. And even then I may still decide he isn't good enough, and I'll tell him. I'd rather be alone and respect myself, than feel the least bit subservient to any man, and I'm finally living in accordance with my feminist principles. I'm finally LIVING.
