Every day, everyone has the chance to do almost anything they want (within reason). But most people take the "safe" route and go on doing what they're used to. Not me. If there's something I want to do, I do it! I don't have anyone to slow me down. I'm single and I love my life! Don't get me wrong, I take care of work and my other responsibilities. I have my priorities straight. But if you want something bad enough, there's always a way to make it happen.
As far as men: I LOVE men. Plural. Sure, I've been in love before, but I enjoy being single more. I don't like being tied down to one guy. I couldn't imagine getting married and spending the rest of my life waking up to the same face every single day. I'm not saying I'm a slut or I sleep around. I just love the thrill of the chase! Hey, if guys can do it, why can't we?
I'll flirt with a guy and take him out on a few dates (yes, I insist on paying for the date if I did the asking out). Then it's on to the next guy. I used to be one of these chicks who always needed to have a steady boyfriend. Now it's been 10 years since I've had one (by choice). It's empowering to not have to feel like you need someone to be with! I'm completely happy by myself and I've got a perfectly exciting life WITHOUT a man.
Like I said earlier, the idea of spending my entire life with the same person day in and day out makes my skin crawl. :)
