Don't tell me you need me, don't tell me I complete you. I don't want to be needed by anyone who isn't my offspring and I sure as hell am not going to be with an incomplete person. Don't buy me flowers or jewelry. Just because I have breasts does not mean I will swoon over those things. You want a long term, meaningful relationship with me? Fine. You'd better have your own damn place to live, your own damn friends, and don't expect me to wait by the phone for you or include you in all of my plans. I had a life before I met you, and that life will not end simply because you've become a part of it. You say you want a woman with a mind of her own, opinions of her own, and the ability to speak up for herself? Heh, you ALL say that until you get one. Don't you dare try to quiet me. No man is worth losing my SELF over. I don't need you to protect me against the evils of the world. I don't need to you warn me that my male friends have "intentions" that you worry about. I am not your little girl.
