I'm done being a passive participant in the fascist empire of gender inequality and all of it's pervasive brain-washing.

I'm tired of being told I'm reading into things; that I'm 'too' sensitive.

I'm sick of mind games, emotional manipulation, and the sorry truth that, in order to blossom in this 'civilized' nation, one must be able to dig out evidence and advocacy for why it is unacceptable treatment from others.

I feel discouraged by the requirement to be able to identify as well as articulate all of this just to be able to have equal basic human rights.

I'm mad that I've spent way too many years of my own and my children's lives believing my own self-doubt inspired by culturally-accepted behaviors from men (and women!), and for rationalizing and bargaining with my own intuition under these circumstances.

I'm tired of being told I'm too extreme and idealistic for wanting my basic human rights to be respected.

And, more than anything else, I'm mad that my dear mother lost her very life in her battle against misogyny and the wicked spells that it cast on her.
