I don't coddle people. I give sympathy where sympathy is due, but I won't lie to make someone feel better if a problem is their fault. What would be the point? Lie to them, and they'll keep having the same problem over and over again and wonder why because no one will tell them. And people call ME unkind?

Give me a break. It's not kindness to let someone fall on their face repeatedly because you're too polite to tell them to tie their damn shoelaces. It's not kindness to let them cuddle their hurt to their bosom like a sick puppy. It's not kindness to let serious faults or mistakes slide because you don't want to be "mean." Friends don't let friends wallow.

If believing in honesty and owning your problems makes me a Heartless Bitch, then I'm proud to be one.
