...I have spent the last year rediscovering my absolute intolerance of deception, hypocrisy, self-pity, and emotional games of all kinds. I say "rediscovered" because I had lapsed out of Heartless Bitch status at some point in my early twenties and woke up to find myself my own first target. Good times, that. So, I cleared out the bullshit in my life (in some cases, am still clearing out), resolved not to stand for it again (in myself least of all), and have embraced my new life with a vigor bordering on primordial fury (I include another parenthetical statement here out of an aesthetic appreciation of symmetry in syntax). Also, not surprisingly, I have found that my best friends, lovers, etc. are similarly both Heartless and Bitchy. Something about viciously honest communication is just a turn on. It must be the eyes.
