I'm intolerant of ignorance because there's really no excuse for
it!! It really pisses me off when others patronize me, as if I lack
intelligence because I don't 'fit the die-cast mold' they want to railroad me
into.
I am a non conformist with ideas of my own, and I strive to live
within the framework of my integrity. You're probably asking, "How does
this make her a Heartless Bitch?" For one thing, I will argue my case to
the nth degree when some arrogant fool attempts to compromise my
integrity. I won't back down, either. It's cut and dried to me... my
values /integrity will not be compromised, especially in this situation.
I'll admit, I have a hard time 'letting go' of an issue I feel passionate
about. For example, I'm a single mom of four kids. I've had to haul
ass for my kids and do everything I could to 'keep the family going' without
compromising myself. Additionally, two of my children are autistic.
In short, I've been their advocate besides being their mom. And guess
what?? This often results in releasing my Inner Bitchiness, to 'get things
done' on their behalf. I believe in working hard for my family, instilling
good values in my children, and speaking up for those who can't speak for
themselves. If being assertive in this manner implies that I'm a Bitch...
so be it!! (By the way, I just turned 40 this year and am experiencing
peri-menopausal symptoms... I know the 'hot flashes' add lots to my
Bitchiness!!)
